Saint Peter's Basilica is the principal church of Vatican City and one of the holiest and most recognisable churches in the Catholic world. Built over the traditional tomb of Saint Peter the Apostle, the first Bishop of Rome, the present basilica was constructed between 1506 and 1626, replacing the original Constantinian basilica that had stood on the site for over a thousand years.

Designed by some of the greatest architects of the Renaissance and Baroque periods, including Donato Bramante, Michelangelo, Carlo Maderno, and Gian Lorenzo Bernini, Saint Peter's Basilica is celebrated for its immense dome, monumental architecture, breathtaking works of sacred art, and Bernini's magnificent Baldacchino over the Papal Altar. As the heart of the Catholic Church, the basilica welcomes millions of pilgrims each year who come to pray at the tomb of Saint Peter and participate in the Church's most solemn liturgical celebrations.

Our recreation of Saint Peter's Basilica serves as the principal church of Vatican Roblox and the centre of the community's liturgical life. It is the official church of His Holiness Pope Gregory XVII and hosts the community's most solemn celebrations, including Papal Masses, consistories, canonisations, episcopal ordinations, and other major ceremonies of the Holy See. Designed to reflect the beauty and grandeur of the real basilica, it provides a reverent setting for worship while expressing the central role of Saint Peter's Basilica in the life of the universal Church.
